So, Fashion Fever has a challenge where you redo a previous design. Well, I really didn't like how this [link] design turned out. I loved the concept of a clear raincoat, but I didn't like the overall look.

So, I redid the dress, keeping the purple colour and the ruffle skirt. The more I looked at this design, the more I liked it. I'm really considering making it for myself. Did you notice the petal sleeves? so cute.

The coat, I LOVE the coat. If I knew how to make a raincoat, this would be the next addition to my wardrobe. (Although, yes, I know, sleeveless raincoat is really not the most productive garment.) Nice bold yellow accents, just to keep with traditional raincoats. The bottom of the jacket is suppose to be like an umbrella. I also felt this collar worked better for a raincoat and for the style of this. And an asymmetrical zipper just to add some flare.
